Position Summary

The Inventory Manager is responsible for overseeing and controlling all inventory activities within the organization, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with production and operational needs. This role plays a critical part in maintaining optimal inventory levels, supporting production schedules, reducing waste, and improving overall supply chain performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels for raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods
  • Oversee inventory transactions including receiving, issuing, transfers, and adjustments
  • Develop and implement inventory control procedures and best practices
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories; reconcile discrepancies
  • Collaborate with purchasing, production, and warehouse teams to ensure material availability
  • Monitor inventory usage, trends, and forecasting to prevent shortages or excess stock
  • Optimize inventory storage, organization, and material flow within the facility
  • Ensure proper documentation and tracking within ERP or inventory management systems
  • Investigate and resolve inventory variances, root causes, and process gaps
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and audit requirements
Qualifications
  • 3–5+ years of inventory management experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong knowledge of inventory control practices, cycle counting, and reconciliation
