Job description

Ready to grow your career? Empire Today is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our hardworking Distribution Center warehouse team. The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for managing and improving inventory accuracy, job quality, and customer satisfaction within a DC.

Compensation Information:
$22/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Completion of all inventory management tasks (including but not limited to):
    • Daily/monthly cycle counts and audits.
    • Inventory maintenance.
    • Daily audits of physical locations/bins.
    • Quarterly and annual inventory counts.
  • Work cross-functionally to identify/correct inventory accuracy issues.
  • Support training of new and existing employees on all inventory control processes.
  • Support network warehouses with their inventory management efforts.
  • Serve as local leader for all physical inventories.
  • Create a strong safety culture by actively implementing safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Computer skills (D365, Tableau, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to operate a forklift, scissor lift, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Ability to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends if needed.
  • Ability to lift or push up to 75lbs.
