Pay range: $19/hr. - 21/hr. on W2
Shift: “A" Shift - 12 hours M-Thu or M-Wed 5:30am-6:00pm or 6:00am-6:30pm
 
Job Description:
Primary Purpose Summary Inventory Control Technicians are responsible for all general warehouse functions in support of departmental goals including but not limited to the receiving of product, the shipping of product, inventory control cycle counts, the supplying of components to Production, packing product and good housekeeping in accordance with cGMP guidelines.
Inventory Control Technicians are also required to operate and maintain industrial powered equipment in accordance with OSHA guidelines.
 
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintain a safe working environment by following safety rules and regulations.
Maintain material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, making operator repairs and alerting Management of possible problems and need for repair.
Operate company truck as well as a variety of material handling equipment requiring proper testing and licensing.
Determine condition of vehicle by inspecting it before and after use and reporting findings to Management.
Maintain safe vehicle and conditions and protect load by complying with organizational policies and procedures and highway rules and regulations.
Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish results.
Maintain status of staged orders and auto -issue inventory.
Maintain production by identifying space for staged components.
Verify and deliver components to work centers.
Transfer orders received by routing or delivering items to requesting departments.
Verify orders by checking components and quantities against proper documentation.
Receive materials by unloading vehicle, accepting deliveries and unpacking containers.
Verify items received by inspecting conditions of items, comparing count measure of item to proper documentation, noting discrepancies and obtaining driver signature.
Prepare finished stock for shipment by examining items to be shipped, destination, route, rate, time of shipment and consulting shipping information book and customer specifications.
Ship items by verifying identifying information, quantity and condition of items, loading and protecting items.
Deliver product or material to destination by identifying destination, selecting route, ensuring proper loading and driving the vehicle.
Maintain component inventory by verifying and completing credits and debits, identifying labeling, lot and /or batch number, manufacture date, First in First out (FIFO) and placing materials and supplies in stock.
Locate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies according to proper documentation.
Maintain inventory through cycle counting and proper reporting of results
 
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Technical School or related experience.
3 + years in a shipping/receiving/warehousing environment.
Ability to work with minimum supervision.
Experience with material handling equipment and shop tools.
Proficient in fork truck operation.
Ability to use standard office equipment.
 
Skills/Abilities:
Good communication skills both verbal and written.
Can work well on teams and build strong relationships.
CGMP and ISO experience.
Proficiency in basic math.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
