OVERVIEW
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Associate to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, overseeing inventory levels, and ensuring efficient utilization of warehouse space. This role requires strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Conduct daily cycle counts to ensure accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Communicate with individuals from other departments on product quality issues and other requests, as needed.
  • Implement and maintain inventory management procedures and protocols.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track and update inventory records in real-time.
  • Analyze data to identify inventory discrepancies, aging stock, and opportunities for process improvements.
  • Maintain organized storage areas and ensure goods are stored efficiently to optimize warehouse space.
  • Generate reports on inventory levels, adjustments, and variances for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in inventory control or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Associate or similar role, preferably in a warehouse setting.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and trends.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory control best practices.
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Working Conditions:
  • This position typically operates in a warehouse environment and does include the use of a cherry picker, often going high into the air on the machine.
  • May require lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Regular exposure to moving mechanical parts and loud noise levels.
