We seek those who share our commitment to customer service, innovation, and ingenuity.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the VP of Planning and Inventory, the Inventory Manager will lead the inventory team and warehouse operations for our manufacturing site ramp-up. You will own the full material lifecycle, including receiving, putaway, production order picking, and logistics; ensuring that as production volumes increase, our processes remain robust and the team stays aligned. This role requires a leader who understands the financial impact of inventory transactions, ensuring transactional integrity and ERP data accuracy to meet both financial compliance and service level targets.

  • Process-Driven Management: Establish and refine standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent, repeatable results as volume scales.
  • Performance Control: Set clear performance goals and conduct regular evaluations. You will provide the leadership necessary to foster a culture of accountability, safety, and transactional discipline.

Warehouse Operations & Problem Solving

  • Operational Monitoring: Provide daily oversight of warehouse functions (Receiving, Shipping, Picking). You will actively monitor and control workflows to identify bottlenecks before they impact the production line.
  • Active Problem Solving: Serve as the primary point of escalation for inventory discrepancies, logistics delays, or system errors, using data-driven insights to resolve root causes.
  • Facility Optimization: Utilize 5S methodologies to optimize warehouse layout for maximum picking and putaway efficiency.

MRP & Data Integrity

  • Master Data Ownership: Serve as the primary owner of Item Card integrity within the ERP; partner with Planning and Procurement to ensure item parameters (lead times, safety stocks, reorder points) reflect operational reality.
  • Supply/Demand Synchronization: Monitor MRP signals to ensure supply is synchronized with the master production schedule, proactively resolving gaps for internal production customers.

Inventory Integrity & Financial Compliance

  • Audits & Cycle Counts: Lead a rigorous cycle count program and coordinate full inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with records, ensuring 100% integrity for financial reporting.
  • Financial Impact: Ensure all physical movements are mirrored in the ERP in real-time. Maintain a deep understanding of how inventory transactions impact the General Ledger (COGS, WIP, and Valuation).
  • Compliance: Apply a strong foundational knowledge of SOX rules to ensure all processes meet internal control standards and audit readiness.
Requirements:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in SCM, Industrial Engineering/ Distribution or a related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) as an Inventory or Warehouse manager leading a team within a manufacturing environment.
