Description

Fremont, CA | Lexus | Luxury brand | Inventory Manager | Automotive operations | Bay Area | Veterans encouraged to apply | $25 - $31/hr

IS THIS YOU?

You have dealership inventory or automotive operations experience and know how to keep a lot organized, accurate, and moving

You're detail-oriented and process-driven -- you notice when something's off and you fix it before it becomes a problem

You thrive behind the scenes in a role where your accuracy and reliability directly support the whole sales and service operation

WHO WE ARE

Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40+ rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.

At Lexus of Fremont, every vehicle on our lot is a reflection of the brand standard we hold ourselves to. The Inventory Manager is the person who keeps that lot accurate, organized, and ready -- supporting the sales team, the service department, and the guest experience from the ground up.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Manage all vehicle inventory on the lot -- tracking location, status, and availability of new, used, and loaner vehicles with accuracy and discipline

Maintain accurate vehicle records in the DMS -- ensuring all inventory is properly logged, titled, and reconciled

Coordinate vehicle receiving -- inspecting incoming inventory for damage, verifying VINs and documentation, and processing vehicles into the system accurately

Stage and organize the lot -- maintaining a clean, professional, and logical vehicle layout that supports the sales team and reflects the Lexus brand standard

Coordinate with sales, service, and finance to track vehicle movement -- ensuring accurate status updates as vehicles move through the reconditioning, sales, and delivery process

Monitor and report on inventory aging, turn, and discrepancies -- flagging issues proactively to management

Coordinate with vendors, transporters, and auction partners on vehicle acquisitions, transfers, and disposals

Support title and DMV processing as needed -- ensuring all paperwork is complete and compliant

Maintain an organized, safe, and well-presented lot environment at all times

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Previous dealership inventory, lot operations, or automotive operations experience -- required

Strong understanding of DMS inventory systems -- Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK experience preferred

Detail-oriented and highly organized -- inventory accuracy is non-negotiable in this role

Comfortable managing multiple moving pieces simultaneously without losing precision

Clear communicator who works effectively with sales, service, finance, and management teams

Physically capable of working on your feet and moving vehicles throughout the shift

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record -- required

Reliable and self-directed -- you take ownership of the lot without needing constant oversight

WHAT WE OFFER

$25 - $31/hr

Medical, dental, and vision insurance

Life insurance and supplemental coverage options

Paid time off and paid holidays

Career growth within the Swickard organization -- inventory operations is a proven path into broader dealership management

Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts

A stable, well-run operation at one of the most respected luxury brands in the Bay Area

WHY LEXUS OF FREMONT

Lexus is one of the most respected luxury brands in the country -- the inventory standard here matches the brand standard, and the person who manages it takes real pride in that

Fremont is a growing city in the heart of the Bay Area with a high-volume, loyal Lexus customer base

A role where your accuracy and reliability are genuinely valued -- when inventory runs well, the whole dealership runs better

Swickard is one of the fastest-growing dealer groups in the country -- ranked Top 5 in North America for reputation in the automotive industry

Our HEART values -- Honor, Engage, Anticipate, Respond, Thank -- apply to every role on the team, including the ones working behind the scenes

A supportive, organized environment where your contribution is visible and your attention to detail is recognized

Lexus of Fremont is a high-volume luxury store that depends on a tight, accurate inventory operation to keep the sales team selling and the guests happy. The Inventory Manager is a foundational role -- and one where the right person can build real expertise and a long-term career in automotive operations.

If you have the automotive inventory experience, the attention to detail, and the reliability to keep a premium lot running at its best -- we'd like to meet you.ย
