Job Summary The Cycle Counter/Warehouse Specialist will be responsible for timely and accurate reconciliation of on-hand inventory and work in production. This position also requires inter-departmental coordination and communication. Duties and Responsibilities Perform materials rotation according to FIFO (first in/first out) principlesGenerate count sheets in ERP (ROSS) via cycle count reportsAssist in counts assigned from finance/demand daily listPerform physical counts of raw material, work in production, packaging products and finish goodsAssist in reconciling inventoryCommunicate and update all relevant parties of any issues or changes to inventoryStage materials for production as neededNotify manager of any unforeseen shortagesPerforms daily checks of area for non-compliance and reports them to the managerAlways ensure clean and tidy work areaSupport all activities to reduce downtimeMaintain appropriate records, lot tracking and item quantities issuedObtain appropriate job reports to maintain materials needed for productionManage weekly rework reporting and rotationTake instructions from supervisorsBackfill for site Material Handler as neededAny other tasks deemed reasonable and requested by managementFollows the company’s Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and HACCP.
