About the Team   As part of the Corporate Tech. Services (CTS) Annual Count team, you’ll lead efforts to modernize and optimize annual inventory count processes. This role is pivotal in driving automation and aligning inventory operations with evolving business needs with unfailing operational excellence. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams including Controllership, Tech, and Asset Protection/Store Operations to deliver scalable solutions that support financial accuracy and operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
  • Lead transformation initiatives focused on inventory count reconciliations, including process redesign, automation, and control enhancements.
  • Partner with Controllership and Asset Protection/Store Operations to align inventory processes with enterprise financial goals and compliance standards.
  • Drive system and workflow improvements that reduce manual effort, improve data integrity, and enhance audit readiness.
  • Oversee month-end close activities, reconciliations, and SOX compliance related to inventory accounting.
  • Collaborate with Tech teams to implement digital tools and analytics that support inventory visibility and reporting.
  • Manage cross-functional project teams and influence stakeholders across Finance, Operations, and Technology.
  • Mentor and develop team members in inventory count reconciliation practices, transformation methodology, and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in inventory accounting, finance transformation, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of inventory valuation, reconciliation, and financial controls.
  • Experience leading process improvement or automation initiatives.
  • Proven ability to work across matrixed teams and manage complex projects.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CPA, CIA, or MBA.
  • Experience with SAP, BlackLine, or other ERP/accounting systems.
  • Familiarity with SOX 404 compliance and internal control frameworks.
  • Exposure to retail or store operations environments.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile).
