POSITION OVERVIEW

The Inventory Control Clerk is charged with assuring proper control of the parts inventory and related administrative functions, while following RWC International, Llc.  policies and procedures.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory accuracy & Integrity.

Obsolescence & dead inventory management.

Receiving & warehouse process control.

Serves as back-up for parts manager for inventory functions.

Financial oversight & risk management

Provides necessary information to the warranty department to allow prompt filing of parts warranties.

Reviews files to determine unused items and recommends disposal of excess stock.

Leadership & cross-department coordination

Returns parts as needed and removes from inventory after credit is received.

Returns cores in a timely manner and follows up for receipt of credit.

Matches purchase orders and invoices, approves, and forwards to accounting office.

Core & warranty management

Assists in preparing for and performing annual parts inventory.

Assists in annual parts returns.

KPI ownership

Other duties and responsibilities

Keeps parts area clean and uncluttered.

Maintains professional appearance.

Salary range for Parts Warehouse Associate (depending on role and experience level) can range from  $20.00-$35.00/hour.

ACTIVITY AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

Employee safety is a prime concern of RWC. This position is a safety sensitive position and falls under the requirements of the RWC Drug and Alcohol policy.  

 

  • Normal physical strength to handle routine materials and tools
  • Normal physical strength to handle 20-pound object, taking frequency into consideration

  • Willingness to complete forklift certification training and operate a forklift as needed
