Warehouse Inventory/Operations Coordinator

Full-Time

Overview:

Responsible for providing logistical and data support for the hospitals general storeroom/warehouse/3PL and assuring the correct supplies are in the correct storage locations/bins with correct quantities to achieve the greatest inventory accuracy possible. Reviews past supplies usage and other related information to determine if inventory levels are appropriate. Develops, establishes, and enforces policies and procedures pertaining to inventory control and inventory management. Demonstrates continuous effort to improve accuracy, decrease stock outs and streamline work processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducts daily cycle counts and updates data into MMIS system.
  • Prepare cycle count reports and provide inventory accuracy.
  • Documents cycle count results and files documents according to policy.
  • Research supply shortages to make certain that physical inventory counts match the MMIS.
  • Make necessary inventory adjustments to keep on hand inventory right sized.
  • Supports analysis and reconciliation of stock variances with root cause analysis.
  • Verifies and investigates all complaints shipment inaccuracy.
  • Maintains and updates inventory records.
  • Collects daily warehouse activity data (metrics tracking).
  • Performs all daily activities necessary to maintain effective inventory management procedures.
  • Maintains records to accurately track damaged, obsolete, expired and/or lost items.
  • Maintains accurate inventory records to help facilities shortage detection.
  • Complete and issue all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion.

Qualifications:

  • Data Entry Experience Required
  • H.S. diploma or associates degree preferred.
  • Some Excel required.
  • Knowledge of Lawson and or GHX a plus.
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and accurately.
