Sentara is hiring for an Inventory Control Specialist III
This a full time position, fully onsite and offers great benefits!
OverviewThe Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day stock control tasks to support the needs of all Sentara hospitals. The Inventory Control Specialist works as a part of the Stock Control Team to ensure all hospitals have adequate stock on-hand to meet demand while also meeting Sentara's expectation of providing an excellent patient experience.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EducationCertification/LicensureExperienceBasic Excel proficiency, including working with existing pivot tables (refreshing, filtering, adjusting fields) is required
Familiarity with Power Query (Preferred)
Ability to follow documented steps to refresh and validate reports
Critical thinking, analytical thinking.
3 years Purchasing/Buyer experience preferred.
Supply Chain Healthcare experience highly desired.
