Inventory Associate – Mobile Retail Auditor

Location: Grand Rapids, MI (Hiring within 20 miles / 30 mins of 49501)

Pay: $19.00 / hour (Paid bi-weekly) | Full-Time

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 100% Weekends Off

Travel: Daily local field travel (Paid travel time included in 36–42 total weekly work hours)

Position Overview & Core Duties

As an Inventory Associate, you will partner with a small team to perform hands-on inventory audits for gas stations and convenience stores throughout the regional division.

  • Perform quick, precise inventory counts using a 10-key handheld counting device.

  • Audit all store zones including sales floors, stockrooms, walk-in coolers, and freezers.

  • Identify stock variances and submit accurate audit reports directly to store management upon completion.

  • Carpool daily with team members to assigned store locations across the division.

Shift & Travel Details
  • Start Time: Official store audit kickoff begins at 7:00 AM (departures can range between 3:00 AM – 4:00 AM depending on drive distance to the day's first location).

  • Work Week: Typical end times range between 1:00 PM and 6:00 PM Monday–Friday.

  • Paid Travel: Total weekly hours average 36–42 hours per week, which includes both in-store counting time and driving/travel time.

Candidate Qualifications
  • Valid Driver’s License, active auto insurance, and reliable personal vehicle (required for driving and participating in team carpool rotations).

  • Must be able to pass background and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checks.

  • Physical capability to stand, bend, squat, kneel, use step-ladders, lift up to 25 lbs, and work inside cold coolers/freezers.

  • Dependable early riser who enjoys physical, team-oriented work.
