Warehouse Associate

Mini Melts of America is an established leader in cryogenically frozen ice cream. As a company, we are on the forefront of the ice cream industry. Position Overview: We are looking for a Warehouse Associate for the Mini Melts Warehouse. This position is Monday - Friday (hours to be determined by the manager).

Job Description: The tasks and responsibilities of a Warehouse employee include but are not limited to the following:

  • Pulling inventory to fill orders in onsite-built cardboard/styrofoam shipping containers.
  • Stocking Walkin Freezers and Freezer Trailers with Daily Products.
  • Handling Dry Ice Regularly.
  • Moving large storage containers to and from packaging to the warehouse using an electric pallet jack and/or a forklift multiple times per day.
  • Daily inventory counts of products, and weekly inventory counts of supplies.
  • Assist in Loading & Unloading Trucks, Basic Shipping and Receiving. Filling out paperwork, to make sure deliveries are what they are supposed to be. That any shortages or damages are documented.
  • Always working in pairs. When putting products away or pulling orders so that everything is verified. Inventory is very important.
  • Assisting where needed, this could be in different departments.

Job Requirements:

  • Working in -40 Temperatures up to 15 minutes at a time
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 50 lbs
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Ability to operate an electric pallet jack and a forklift
  • Pre-employment background screening and drug test
  • Ability to work at least 40 hrs per week, which may include some overtime at times
  • Basic Math Skills

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, company product codes and terminology.
  • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures.
  • Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
