Job description

The Opportunity

The Inventory and Materials Coordinator will support the operations team in inventory management and warehouse administration. The Inventory and Materials Coordinator displays a solid work ethic, a high level of initiative and can learn new concepts and put them to practice quickly. They are motivated by paying attention to each detail, have excellent follow up and organizational skills. They work well in a fast paced and time sensitive environment. They will lead by example and put customer service first and drive the Tundra WOW experience every day. This full time position will report to the Warehouse Manager.

The Role

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation
  • Cycle Counts:
    • Responsible for assisting with the primary and secondary cycle counts
    • Work with Tundraโ€™s Inventory Control staff on investigations and reconciliation
  • Maintain quarantine and auxiliary warehouse (Repair/Return bin locations, ZZBin, etc)
  • Assist in resolving customer order discrepancies related to inventory
  • Systematic inventory adjustments as required
  • Product returns management (RMAโ€™s)
  • Costing of parts as needed
  • Support overall warehouse operations as needed
    • Shipping
    • Receiving
    • Order picking
    • Driver/courier interactions
  • Support warehouse administration when needed (scanning/filing of documents, etc)
  • Support Tundraโ€™s culture and core values

The Candidate

  • 2 years of industry experience
  • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with an ERP system (M3 preferred)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with tight deadlines
  • Positive attitude
  • Focused on problem solving
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • A self-starter, able to work independently, within a team, and across the various groups in the organization at all levels
  • Excellent organizational, time management and follow up skills
  • Forklift and/or Reach Truck certification is encouraged, will receive in-house training as well
