About the Role
Olympic Eagle Distributing is looking for a Routing & Inventory Coordinator to support our daily delivery operations and inventory management. This position plays an important role in coordinating efficient delivery routes, maintaining accurate routing and inventory information, and working across our transportation, warehouse, sales, and supplier teams. The ideal candidate is organized, analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced distribution environment. This is a hands-on coordination role for someone who enjoys solving problems, improving processes, and keeping operations running smoothly.
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, approximately 9am - 6pm. Some schedule flexibility may be required based on business needs.
What You'll Do
Routing & Transportation
  • Create, manage, and optimize daily delivery routes to support efficient operations and strong customer service.
  • Maintain accurate routing information, including delivery schedules, service windows, route assignments, and account details.
  • Monitor daily routing activity and make adjustments as needed.
  • Partner with delivery, sales, warehouse, and management teams to resolve delivery-related issues.
  • Assist with long-term route planning, route changes, and territory adjustments.
  • Analyze route performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service levels, and resource utilization.
  • Use routing and transportation management software to support daily operations and long-term planning.
  • Help establish and maintain routing processes, standards, and best practices.

Inventory Management
  • Support daily inventory control activities and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Monitor inventory levels and investigate discrepancies.
  • Process inventory receipts, adjustments, returns, and product claims.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports and operational metrics.
  • Assist with physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
  • Identify inventory issues and work with internal teams to determine and implement corrective actions.
  • Support inventory planning and replenishment activities for assigned suppliers or product categories.
  • Monitor inventory levels and recommend orders to maintain appropriate product availability and service levels.
  • Work with suppliers and internal teams to resolve shortages, delivery issues, and inventory discrepancies.
