The Job

The Inventory Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of product inventory across all distribution center locations. This role is critical to the smooth operation of our supply chain verifying counts, identifying discrepancies, and partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly and thoroughly. This role may be open to 1st or 2nd shift opportunities.

The Opportunity

  • Conduct routine and cycle inventory counts; investigate and reconcile variances in a timely manner.
  • Track, document, and resolve location errors including order, carton, and bin-level discrepancies.
  • Partner with DC operations teams to investigate and address root causes of inventory inaccuracies.
  • Liaise with the Technology team to troubleshoot WMS (Warehouse Management System) and WCS (Warehouse Control System) issues affecting inventory data.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting team to ensure inventory records align with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) data and support financial accuracy.
  • Maintain organized and accurate inventory records; generate reports to support operational decision-making.
  • Assist in developing and improving inventory control processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain open, clear, and actionable communication with DC (Distribution Center) Supervisors, Leads, and associates to address inventory-related issues.
  • Train team members in the inventory count process and offer support in troubleshooting order and location issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

The Must Haves

  • A high school diploma or equivalent or an equivalent background in warehousing, logistics, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years prior experience in a warehousing, inventory, or supply chain role.
