Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organizedInventory Auditor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting physical vehicle inventory audits, reconciling inventory records, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring inventory accuracy across dealership operations. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with multiple departments.


Wage: $55,000 per year


Location: 353 Manitou Drive, Kitchener


Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm


What You'll Be Doing:

  • Conduct physical audits of new and used vehicle inventory.
  • Verify Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs), vehicle locations, and inventory records.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and investigate variances.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using dealership management systems.
  • Prepare inventory audit reports and communicate findings to management.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end inventory reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and manufacturer inventory requirements.
  • Coordinate with sales, accounting, finance, and service departments to resolve inventory issues.
  • Monitor inventory aging and identify missing or misplaced vehicles.
  • Audit vehicle keys, titles, and supporting documentation.
  • Recommend improvements to inventory control processes.
  • Perform other inventory-related duties as assigned.


What You Bring to the Table:

  • Previous experience in automotive inventory, accounting, or auditingpreferred
  • Familiarity with PBS, Dealertrack, Renolds & Renolds or other DMS systemsis an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple locations and priorities
  • Proficient in Excel and reporting tools
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between dealership locations as required
