BASIC PURPOSE: The Asset Coordinator I provides asset tracking and logistical support functions for all corporate, store, and field environments. This position will receive, inventory, and deploy equipment to new and existing locations. This position will provide replacement equipment to stores and process the broken equipment when it is returned to include testing, repairing, and coordinating warranty support.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Inventory Management - Maintain and provide counts of inventory to management.
    • Minimize overstocks and removal of obsolete / redundant raw materials to maximize availability of working capital.
    • Ensure incoming product is received and managed appropriately according to company procedure.
    • Ensure materials are ready and available for shipment at all times.
  • Logistical Support - Ship and receive all equipment coming and going from the warehouse and repair depot.
  • Loss Control - Consistently follow processes to limit loss and prevent theft of company assets.
    • Validate and Track equipment leaving the IT Inventory
  • Salvage - Prepare equipment for salvage and schedule the appropriate company for the pickup.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Education:
    • High-school diploma required
    • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Experience:
    • 1 + years of related experience preferred
    • Proficient with current technologies and standard business applications

SKILLS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Skills:
    • Hard skills: Strong knowledge of receiving and inventory management; working knowledge of Windows operating systems; experience with Microsoft Office.
    • Soft Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent listening and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate ideas in both technical and business terms; highly self-motivated and directed; keen attention to detail; proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities; ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment; strong customer service orientation; experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Typical Physical Demands:
    • Occasional evening and weekend work to meet deadlines.
    • Occasional travel may be required.
    • Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
    • Lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers and peripherals.
    • Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and other computer components.
    • Requires normal range of hearing and vision.
