Description

The Systems Administrator supports the core systems and platforms that keep the organization running efficiently. This role maintains servers, M365, Azure VM environments, communication systems, and automation workflows that support day-to-day IT operations. This position is important because it improves reliability, reduces manual work, and helps keep business systems secure, connected, and effective across the organization. This is a fully in-person position located in Sandy, Utah.ย 


Pay Range: $70 - $90k


Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Administer and support core business systems, servers, and IT platforms.
  • Manage M365, including user, licensing, access, and administration tasks.
  • Support and maintain Azure VM environments and related cloud infrastructure.
  • Support GoTo Connect and related communication and VoIP systems.
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot scripts, automations, and API integrations.
  • Create and support workflow and process automation using Power Automate.
  • Maintain basic internal web tools, dashboards, forms, or support pages.
  • Support onboarding, offboarding, provisioning, and access management workflows.
  • Troubleshoot system, server, authentication, cloud, and data flow issues.
  • Monitor system health, performance, backups, and security alerts.
  • Document configurations, workflows, and support procedures.
  • Work with vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and improve systems.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Coach, teach and mentor.
  • Support LHMSH culture by promoting "Friendly, Positive, and Focused on Excellence".
  • Protect the legal, financial, and moral well-being of Larry H. Miller Senior Health.
  • All other duties as assigned.


Job Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent hands-on experience may be considered in place of formal education.
  • 3+ years of experience in systems administration, automation, or a similar technical role.
  • Strong M365 administration experience.
  • Experience supporting Windows servers and core IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with Azure VM environments or similar cloud infrastructure.
  • Strong Python, PowerShell, or other scripting experience.
  • Experience with Power Automate, APIs, integrations, and automation workflows.
  • Experience with basic web development.
  • Experience supporting GoTo Connect or similar VoIP platforms.
  • Experience with Entra ID, Intune, SharePoint, SQL, or reporting workflows preferred.
  • Comfortable using AI tools and modern "vibe coding" workflows to improve speed, troubleshooting, and automation.
  • Experience working in healthcare, regulated environments, or multi-site organizations preferred.
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and time-management skills.


Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to walk, sit, stand, bend, reach, talk, hear, kneel, crouch, stretch, twist, lift up to 25 pounds, and move about.
  • Required vision includes close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to carefully consider all information and make impacting decisions on a regular basis.
  • Maintain regular attendance and timeliness as set forth within the work schedule designated by the department supervisor/manager.
  • Job requires accepting criticism and dealing calmly and effectively with high-stress situations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Travel required 6 to 12 weeks per year, as needed, to facilities or project locations.
