Intranet Manager Remote information

What does an intranet manager do when working remotely?

An Intranet Manager working remotely is responsible for overseeing the development, maintenance, and optimization of a company's internal communication platform, known as the intranet. They collaborate with various departments to ensure the intranet meets organizational needs, manages user access, updates content, and troubleshoots technical issues. Remote Intranet Managers use digital tools to coordinate with IT teams, content creators, and stakeholders, ensuring continuous information flow and system functionality even when working offsite.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as an intranet manager remote?

To thrive as a Remote Intranet Manager, you need expertise in intranet platform management, content administration, and a background in IT or communications, often supported by a relevant degree. Familiarity with popular intranet solutions (e.g., SharePoint, Workplace), CMS tools, and user analytics software is typically expected. Strong project management, collaboration, and communication skills help you coordinate with distributed teams and deliver engaging internal content. These skills ensure the effective operation, user adoption, and continuous improvement of the organization's digital workplace.

How does an intranet manager working remotely collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams?

As a remote Intranet Manager, you will frequently coordinate with IT, HR, communications, and various department leaders to ensure the intranet meets organizational needs. Collaboration typically occurs via virtual meetings, project management tools, and regular status updates, so strong communication and digital collaboration skills are essential. Building relationships remotely can be challenging, but proactively scheduling check-ins and fostering open feedback channels will help maintain alignment and drive successful intranet projects.

Job description

CoreWeave is The Essential Cloud for AI™. Built for pioneers by pioneers, CoreWeave delivers a platform of technology, tools, and teams that enables innovators to build and scale AI with confidence. Trusted by leading AI labs, startups, and global enterprises, CoreWeave combines superior infrastructure performance with deep technical expertise to accelerate breakthroughs and turn compute into capability. Founded in 2017, CoreWeave became a publicly traded company (Nasdaq: CRWV) in March 2025. Learn more at www.coreweave.com.
What You'll Do:

As CoreWeave continues to scale globally with an increasingly distributed workforce, the bar for how employees experience company platforms needs to rise with it. Company events, Slack, search, remote/in-office experience, and internal communications each work well individually today, but as usage grows across more teams, time zones, and use cases, they need deliberate ownership to stay coherent, trustworthy, and genuinely useful. Most companies treat their internal digital platforms as infrastructure. CoreWeave treats them as culture. This role exists to get ahead of that curve — to make sure CoreWeave's employee experience scales as intentionally as the business itself, with AI as a first-class design principle rather than an afterthought. This is a once-in-a-career opportunity to build the internal digital experience of a defining company — from the ground up, with real resources, executive sponsorship, and the freedom to invent.

We need someone who has a strong point of view — and the conviction, craft, and curiosity to build the most compelling and joyful employee experience in the industry.

About the role:

The Digital Employee Experience Platforms Lead owns the vision and delivery of CoreWeave's AI-driven intranet - a single, intelligent front door into company knowledge, tools, and workflows that brings together live company events, Slack, enterprise search, and how information reaches employees day to day into one connected experience, tailored to every role and persona across the company. This role also owns the strategy and governance of each of those underlying platforms individually, and sets the standard for how AI shows up across all of them. Day to day, you'll split time between policy and governance work that ships quickly and longer-term platform strategy you'll help define from the ground up. You'll work in close partnership with Communications, People team/HR, Engineering, and the AI delivery team.

Who You Are:
  • 5–10 years of product management experience. Leading digital workplace, employee experience, or internal platform products are a plus.
  • Experience with platforms such as Slack, Confluence, Glean (or comparable enterprise search), intranet platforms, and employee communications technologies.
  • Strong understanding of AI products and emerging AI workflows, with the ability to translate new capabilities into product strategy.
  • Experience leading both platform modernization initiatives and organizational change across cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent judgment in information architecture, digital communications, and employee experience design.
  • A track record of succeeding in fast-moving, high-growth environments where defining the strategy is as important as executing it.

Wondering if you're a good fit?

We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams – even if you aren't a 100% skill or experience match. Here are a few qualities we've found compatible with our team. If some of this describes you, we'd love to talk.

  • You love turning ambiguous, cross-functional problems into a concrete roadmap and shipping against it
  • You're curious about how AI can reshape internal tools and everyday workflows, not just customer-facing products
  • You're an expert at balancing governance and policy work with hands-on platform building

Why CoreWeave?

At CoreWeave, we work hard, have fun, and move fast! We're in an exciting stage of hyper-growth that you will not want to miss out on. Come join us!

The base salary range for this role is $182,000 to $242,000. The starting salary will be determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location.
