Essential Functions
  • Perform minimally invasive procedures such as Thoracentesis, Paracentesis, Biopsies, Lumbar Puncture, Myelogram, Central Venous Access cases, Chest tubes
  • Evaluating new patients during consults
  • Rounding on patients post procedure
  • Work closely with IR Physicians to coordinate patient care
  • Body drain and chest tube management
  • Collaborate with various specialties within Health First Hospital System
  • Perform various Fluoroscopy studies such as Barium Swallow studies, Esophagrams, Upper GI studies, Small Bowel Follow Through, Cystogram
Schedule
  • Full time, M-F 8am to 5pm
  • Occasional weekend coverage in rotation
  • No nights or call

Qualifications
  • PA-C or APRN-C
  • Active or eligible for licensure in the State of Florida
  • Current NCCPA Certification for PAs or ANCC Certification for APRNs
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Procedural experience a plus but not required
  • Ability to speak and understand the English language
  • Extensive knowledge of physical assessment, differential diagnosis
