Job Details
• Interventional Radiology unit within a Cardiac Interventional Radiology department,
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM,
• Operates a single-plane Siemens IR suite with planned expansion to biplane and additional single-plane rooms in 2027,
• Utilizes Epic charting system,
• Performs a broad range of IR procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, IVC filter placement/removal, liver biopsy, paracentesis, thoracentesis, and vascular studies,
• Supports genitourinary and venous access procedures such as nephrostomy, ureteral stent placement, PICC line care, and catheter/drain exchange,
• Works across settings including Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, EP Lab, Hybrid OR, and Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab,
Job Requirements
• 5 years of experience preferred,
• Prior travel experience required,
• ARRT (R) and BLS certification required,
• Required IR experience with a single-plane Siemens suite,
• Epic charting experience required,
• Community hospital and LTAC experience preferred,
• Proficiency in sterile technique, equipment setup, and vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose),
• License required if applicable,
Additional Information
• Responsibilities include equipment setup, prepping access sites, room circulating, and maintaining sterile fields during procedures,
• Maintains equipment, stocks supplies, and manages inventory,
• Utilizes fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and PACS systems,
• Must complete core onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing,
• Onsite orientation includes non-billable modules averaging 2-3 hours for allied staff,
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible,
• Former staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler,
• All RTO must be disclosed at time of consideration,
• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation,
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted
