How you'll make an impact in this role

Assist with procedures and provide diagnostic aid by conducting organ or body scans on patients.

  • Diagnostic Expertise: Conduct a diverse range of organ and body scans to provide essential diagnostic aid.
  • Precision and Safety: Prepare and position patients accurately, manage technical parameters, and rigorously follow all radiation safety guidelines.
  • Advanced Procedures: Perform specialized imaging, including angio and complex vascular/interventional procedures, in collaboration with the medical team.
  • Protocol Management: Administer contrast media and medications within scope, monitor patients during procedures, and recommend protocol refinements.
  • Ensure Integrity: Maintain unwavering compliance with all regulatory agency standards.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.  American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • One or more of the following required:
    • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
    • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
What additional requirements you'll need

Education:  Degree in Radiology or Completion of certification program in Radiography. 

Two years of IR Vascular/Neuro Rad Tech experience preferred.
