100% Interventional Radiology - A Premier Clinical Practice
Step into a thriving, high-volume clinical IR practice at Ascension's flagship hospital in Indiana. We are seeking a dynamic physician to join our specialized team delivering cutting-edge, minimally invasive care across both inpatient and outpatient settings. We are a full service clinical IR practice that provides cutting edge, minimally invasive procedures in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. This is accomplished via our robust inpatient consultation service and our thriving outpatient clinic model.
  • Join an established team of 5 physicians and 6 APPs
  • Call structure: Will be q5 for primary and q20 for back up for vascular surgery partner for non- vascular cases
  • Employed position within a nonprofit health system
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Intervenional Radiology
  • Eligible for Indiana state medical licensure and DEA registration
  • Deliver compassionate medical care and treatment to patients within the assigned clinical area.
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients utilizing advanced clinical judgment and evidence-based practices.
  • Fellowship training in Interventional Radiology
  • Pure Interventional Focus: 100% clinical IR. Zero diagnostic radiology reading responsibilities.
  • Unmatched Clinical & Administrative Support: Practice at the absolute top of your game. You will be supported by 4 highly skilled APPs who manage daily rounding, clinic flow, and minor vascular/non-vascular interventions.
  • Additionally, 4 full-time dedicated nurses handle procedural scheduling, patient calls, and follow-ups, ensuring your day runs seamlessly.
  • Elite Team Structure: Join an established, highly collaborative group of 4 Interventional Radiologists and 1 Vascular Surgeon. We operate on a shared productivity model with vascular surgery, fostering a culture of true partnership rather than competition.
  • Clinical Diversity Overview: Engage in a high-end, complex case mix across multiple specialized service lines.
  • Thrombosis & CLI: Lead the comprehensive hospital thrombosis service line (PE, DVT, PV) and run a robust Critical Limb Ischemia (CLI) service closely aligned with podiatry and vascular surgery.
  • Advanced Interventional Oncology: Utilize state-of-the-art tech including Histotripsy (we are the only site in Indianapolis offering this), IRE, MWA, Cryoablation, SIR-Spheres, and TheraSphere.
  • World-Renowned Partnerships: Serve as the core IR provider for the Vascular Malformation Clinic and the Center of Excellence for HHT, both in partnership with the globally recognized Center for Innovative Hematology.
  • Complex Portal Venous & Biliary: Perform forward-thinking interventions supported by an excellent GI division. Procedures include SpyGlass, biliary ablations, ICE for PV recanalizations (in both acute and chronic disease), and routine TIPS.
  • Comprehensive Scope: Perform everything else a forward-thinking Interventional Radiologist can envision.
  • Unrivaled Clinical Collaboration: We are truly the "doctor's consultants" at our hospital. IR is integral to every service line, creating a deep sense of camaraderie.
