Interventional Radiologist (Locum Tenens) – Scottsdale, AZ (85260) | Level 1 Trauma Center

Locum tenens Interventional Radiologist needed in Scottsdale, AZ (85260) — per diem coverage at Level 1 trauma centers. Board-certified IR with fellowship training and trauma experience required.

Job Details
  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,150 – $7,280 (competitive locum tenens pay)
  • Location: On-site in Scottsdale, AZ (Level 1 Trauma Centers) — Scottsdale, Arizona radiology jobs
  • Schedule: 7 days, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MST (9-hour workday)
  • Duration: Per diem assignment (April 1, 2026 – April 2, 2026)
  • Holiday Coverage: As agreed upon
Qualifications / Job Requirements
  • Board Certified Interventional Radiologist
  • Completion of an Interventional Radiology Fellowship
  • Minimum 1 year of interventional radiology experience; trauma IR and Level 1 trauma center experience preferred
  • Proven ability to manage emergent IR procedures in a high-acuity setting
  • Proficiency with RPCE Tech Stack & PowerScribe 4.0
  • Availability for per diem/locum tenens radiology shifts and urgent callbacks
Responsibilities
  • Perform a broad range of interventional radiology (IR) procedures: biopsies, drainages, GI/GU procedures, IVC filter placement/removal, PE/DVT thrombectomy, GI bleed/trauma embolization, and dialysis interventions
  • Manage emergent, inpatient routine, stat, and stroke cases in a Level 1 trauma environment
  • Meet productivity expectations (53 RVUs per shift) for locum tenens radiology assignments
  • Collaborate with physician assistants and advanced practice providers on paras, thoracostomies, lumbar punctures, and venous access procedures
  • Respond to weeknight and weekend callbacks for urgent/emergent IR procedures as needed
