Description:
The Cardiovascular Technologist II acts as a critical member of the patient care team within the department.
This role collaborates fully with other care team members to ensure continuity of care for patients.
The Technologist promotes a philosophy of patient/family-focused care in all interactions with patients, families, and personnel.
There is a focus on understanding and meeting customer needs.
The position may involve weeknight, weekend, and holiday calls during the contract, but there will be no weekend or holiday shifts worked.
In a 13-week contract, the expectation includes 1-3 weeknight calls in total and possibly 1 weekend, though not guaranteed.
The lab averages over 30 cases per day.
Case types range from outpatient procedures to complex interventions.
ACLS certification is required.
