Job Summary (in List Format):
- Schedule: Monday-Friday; one weekend call per contract (Friday 1600–Monday 0700)
- Patient Census: Average daily census of 25
- Facility Details: 3 rooms, 8 beds
- Patient Population: Adolescents, adults, geriatrics
- Documentation: Requires Epic EMR proficiency
- Communication: Utilizes SBAR system
- Support Services Provided: Interpretation services, lift teams, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response team, respiratory services, social services, transportation, unit secretary
- In-House Provider Coverage (24/7): Intensivist, NP, CRNA, hospitalist, anesthesiologist
- Certifications Required: ARRT (R), BLS, OH state license
- Work Setting: Interventional Radiology
- Equipment/Systems Used: PACS, fluoroscopy; responsible for equipment operation and maintenance
- Procedures (Abdominal/Pelvic): Chest tube placement, embolization, IVC filter placement/removal, stent placement, thoracentesis
- Genitourinary Procedures: Catheter/drain exchange, embolization, internal/external biliary drainage
- Vascular Procedures: TIPS, central venous access/port placement
