Job description

Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse

Location: Savannah, GA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7:00AM - 5:30PM, 4 10-hour shifts with call required.

Job Description: The position is for an Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse in a high-acuity environment, specifically within an Angiography and Interventional Radiology unit. The RN will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to provide direct patient care during a variety of procedures, ensuring safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Manage critical care medications and monitor patient conditions during procedures.
  • Assist with procedures such as Permcath placements, Port placements, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE interventions, and trauma care.
  • Work as part of a team consisting of lead techs, ARRT/RTR, and RCIS to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
  • Document patient care accurately using the EPIC Cupid documentation system.
  • Maintain communication with interdisciplinary teams to enhance overall patient care.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Current Registered Nurse license and certifications in ACLS and BLS.
  • Prior experience in Critical Care and Interventional Radiology, particularly with stroke and trauma care.
  • Experience managing critical care gtt management.
