Interventional Radiologist

Full-Time Position | Our Organization - Arlington, Virginia

We are in search of a skilled and collaborative Interventional Radiologist to become part of our expanding and well-established interventional radiology program within one of the region's top independent healthcare systems.

Situated in the Washington, DC metropolitan area, our organization is a 537-bed not-for-profit health system recognized nationally for its clinical excellence, innovation, and focus on patient-centered care. We are continuously enhancing our specialty and procedural services while fostering a strong culture of physician engagement and multidisciplinary teamwork.

Opportunity Highlights

The selected physician will join a high-achieving Interventional Radiology team that delivers comprehensive inpatient and outpatient procedural services across a wide array of minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. This full-time role is based at our main campus in Arlington, Virginia. The Interventional Radiology program is bolstered by experienced technologists, dedicated nursing staff, advanced imaging capabilities, and a collaborative procedural environment that is consistently evolving in both complexity and volume.

Our Interventional Radiology service collaborates closely with oncology, vascular surgery, hepatology, nephrology, trauma, emergency medicine, and various surgical specialties to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care throughout the treatment continuum.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology

  • Completed fellowship training in Interventional Radiology

  • Board Certified/Eligible in Interventional Radiology/Diagnostic Radiology (IR/DR)

  • Eligible for medical licensure in the Commonwealth of Virginia

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Interest in multidisciplinary care and program development is preferred
