This well-established regional health center serves as a cornerstone of healthcare in southeastern Missouri, offering comprehensive cardiovascular services within a nationally respected, physician-led organization. The facility features a newly renovated cardiac catheterization lab with dedicated procedural time and is supported by an experienced, collaborative cardiology team including Interventional Cardiologists, an Invasive Cardiologist, and Advanced Practice Providers.
Opportunity:
Physician - Interventional Cardiology
Job Details:
  • Provide both inpatient and outpatient interventional cardiology care in a full-time employed position
  • Perform cardiac catheterizations, PCI, CardioMEMS, and peripheral vascular procedures
  • Work in a newly renovated cath lab with dedicated procedural time
  • Participate in a 1:4 call schedule with one night per week and one weekend every four weeks; minimal call-backs and no after-hours STEMI call
  • Weekend inpatient rounding on approximately 8-10 patients per day
  • Collaborate with 2 Interventional Cardiologists, 1 Invasive Cardiologist, and 2 experienced APPs
  • Optional opportunity to perform device and pacemaker implantations (a plus but not required)
  • Utilize EPIC EMR for clinical documentation
  • Collaborate with the Cardiac Service Line for coordinated, comprehensive patient care
  • Participate in program development and community outreach initiatives
  • Excellent mentorship available for recent fellowship graduates
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology required
  • Active Missouri medical license required (or willingness to obtain)
  • DEA certification required
  • Completion of Interventional Cardiology Fellowship required
  • Clean malpractice and license history highly preferred
  • J1 and H1B visa sponsorship available
  • 2026 and 2027 Interventional Cardiology Fellows welcome to apply
