Specialty: Interventional Cardiology

Location: Palmer, AK

Work Environment: Both Inpatient and Outpatient settings are required; candidates should be open to working in both areas. General Cardiology duties will also be part of the role.

Reason for Coverage: This position is available due to scheduling requirements.

Start Date: August 1, 2026

Availability: Ongoing commitment of 2 weeks per month.

Working Hours: 7 AM to 7 AM

Patient Load: Approximately 15 patients per shift

On-Call Duties: Yes, on-call responsibilities are included.

Phone Consultations: Expected to handle 2 consultations.

Admissions: Responsible for 1 admission per shift.

Licensure: An active license in Alaska is required.

Electronic Medical Records: Familiarity with Cerner and Athena systems is necessary.
