Job description

House Delivery Driver

Location- This role will be based in Oxford, NC. 

Delivery driver with a current DOT card. Local and interstate trips to warehouses and storage bins. (in state and out of state) Load and unload products daily. When not making deliveries, associate will help in various areas in the local warehouse.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • The ability to locate and deliver products to storage bins and warehouses in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform pre and post DOT truck inspections and keep log books up to date
  • Properly secure load on truck
  • Daily maintenance and cleanliness of truck
  • Safely operate assigned equipment,
  • Report any unsafe job site or injury immediately to supervisor.
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Pre and post photographs of delivery
  • Customer signature on sales orders at warehouses
  • Must pass all DOT requirements including physical examination and drug screen.
  • Must have a clean motor vehicle record.
  • The ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
  • Down stack deliveries in storage bins accordingly

Minimum requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of driver experience
  • Current DOT Card. 
  • Strong customer service skills
