Summary:
The Material Handler is responsible for supporting warehouse and distribution operations including shipping, receiving, storage, inventory management, and order fulfillment activities. This role ensures accurate processing of materials and timely delivery while maintaining high quality and safety standards in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Pick, pack, sort, arrange, count, store, and process materials for storage and shipment according to established procedures.
  • Receive incoming materials and finished goods, verifying quantities, quality, and required documentation.
  • Operate powered industrial trucks and other distribution equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and support shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment activities.
  • Work within warehouse environments that may include room temperature, cold-room, and freezer-room conditions.
  • Follow all ISO standards, company procedures, and quality policies.
  • Utilize ERP systems, Outlook, and shipping software to support daily warehouse operations.
  • Maintain clean and organized workspaces while adhering to safety standards.
  • Support team goals through reliable attendance, communication, and operational efficiency.
Required Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 0-1 years Order picker/Forklift experience
  • 0-2 years of related warehouse, logistics, or material handling experience.
  • Ability to operate powered industrial trucks and work at varying equipment heights.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with ERP systems, Outlook, and shipping software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow policies and procedures consistently.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet schedules in a repetitive work environment.
  • Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures including freezer and cold-room conditions.
  • Frequent walking, standing, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing.
