Job description

Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Marshfield, Wisconsin
Company: I-State Truck Centers
Scheduled Shift: M - F, 8:30am- 5:00pm CST.

Join I-State Truck Center at our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility in Marshfield, Wisconsin. We are seeking a skilled and reliable Warehouse Associate to support our growing operation. In this role, you will be part of a high-performing team responsible for the accurate and efficient handling of parts through receiving, stocking, shipping, and order fulfillment. You will also help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment-critical to ensuring employee safety and inventory accuracy.

Job Duties:

RECEIVING & STOCKING

  • Receive, inspect, unpack, sort, and label incoming shipments.
  • Identify and reject damaged items; document shortages and work with vendors to resolve discrepancies.
  • Submit freight or product claims as needed.
  • Accurately bin stock orders according to part number, vendor, or other predetermined systems.
  • Use computer systems to receive purchase orders and print labels.
  • Notify Parts Counter staff when customer orders arrive.
  • Participate in regular inventory counts and maintain accurate records of incoming goods.
  • Perform all necessary computer functions to track inventory movement.

ASSEMBLE ORDERS & STAGE THEM FOR DELIVERY

  • Pick, assemble, and stage customer and shop orders for timely distribution.
  • Fulfill internal supply requests for service departments.
  • Process billing for completed orders.

SHIPPING

  • Schedule carriers for outgoing LTL shipments.
  • Package, weigh, and ship small parcels via UPS, FedEx, and SpeeDee.
  • Add freight charges to customer orders.
  • Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies
  • Maintain records of outgoing shipments
  • Setup call tags for parts that we need back from a customer

PICK UP & DELIVER LOCAL PARTS

  • Transport parts and materials between receiving, production areas, warehouses, internal departments, and local customers.
  • Make pick-ups and deliveries to suppliers using a company vehicle.

MAINTAIN WAREHOUSES, DEPARTMENT VEHICLES, & EQUIPMENT

  • Maintain and organize warehouses to ensure the efficient location of parts
  • Cleanliness of warehouse and inspection of forklifts and other equipment is needed to ensure the safety of everyone entering the warehouse or operating the equipment
  • Ensure Shipping & Receiving vehicles are clean & taken in for routine maintenance

Desired Qualities/Skills:

  • Experience using a Windows computer
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Efficient and thorough with exceptional organizational skills
  • Must show initiative and have a dependable work ethic
  • Must be able to work efficiently with a team and independently
  • The ability to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Occasionally there is a need to lift greater than 50 lbs
  • Must have a valid Wisconsin driver's license
  • Experience operating forklifts is preferred
  • Prior warehouse experience is preferred
  • Experience using Excel, Word, Outlook, etc., preferred
