About the Role
Lango is seeking bilingual individuals in Maine to provide in-person interpreting services across a variety of settings, including schools, hospitals, legal offices, and social service organizations. Interpreters play a vital role in bridging communication gaps and supporting multicultural communities throughout the state.

Requirements
  • Fluency in English and at least one additional language
  • Ability to pass a language proficiency test if interpreter credentials are not available
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (I-9 compliant)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Willingness to complete a background check and drug screening
  • For medical assignments: ability to provide MMR, Varicella, COVID-19, TB test, and Flu vaccination records
  • Primarily available for in-person appointments
  • Professional interpreting experience preferred but not required
