Details:
Azure Systems Architect
Location: Houston TX - Hybrid
Duration: 12 months
Summary:
The Architect, Integrated Systems will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise-wide system integrations, ensuring seamless data flow and interoperability across technology ecosystem. This role will collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to develop scalable, secure, and efficient integration solutions that align with business objectives and operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the architecture roadmap for enterprise system integrations, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategy.
  • Design and implement integration solutions across SAP S4/HANA, Workday, Opentext, ServiceNow, Operations systems, and other enterprise platforms.
  • Develop and enforce best practices, standards, and governance policies for integration architecture, data management, and security.
  • Ensure integration solutions support real-time and batch data processing, APIs, and middleware technologies.
  • Collaborate with IT security to ensure integration processes comply with cybersecurity policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical leadership on system interoperability, API development, and cloud-based integration strategies.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and trends to recommend enhancements that improve system connectivity and performance.
  • Manage vendor relationships and technology partnerships to ensure effective system integration, support and scalability.

Basic Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex integration projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a strategic, solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Effective communication skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and initiatives.

Preferred Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in IT architecture, system integration, and enterprise application management.
  • Expertise in Azure Integration Services such as: Service Bus, Event Hub, DataBricks, Data Factory, Azure Storage, Key Vault, App Insights, API Manager, Re-usable framework libraries (DLLs, available through .NET NuGet Package Management & DevOps Artifacts).
  • Ability to establish patterns for APIs (OData, HTTPS, ReST), Flat and Delimited files, ETL, and Streaming data as well as data governance best practices.
  • Experience with SAP S4/HANA, Workday, Opentext, ServiceNow, Operations systems, and other enterprise platforms including experience in cloud-based integration platforms.
  • Expertise in languages such as yami, bicep, terraform, Kusto, SQL and Javascript
