Job description

Position Overview:
Early Intervention program hiring part-time and full- time NYS Certified Special Education Teachers, Speech Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physical Therapists, for our home and community based Early Intervention program.

We offer flexible part time or full time schedules delivering services to children 0-3 years old. We offer ongoing mentoring, professional development and support to all our providers. In addition, we offer weekly pay periods as well as referral incentives.
Qualifications/License
  • New York State Certification in Special Education or Students with Disabilities (B-2) or
  • NYS Occupational Therapy Certificate or
  • NYS Physical Therapy Certificate or
  • NYS Speech Therapy Certificate or
  • OTA Certification or
  • CFY Interns
Work Experience:
  • Experience with young students under age 5 a plus!
Responsibilities include:
  • Provide direct 1:1 therapy to children in-home or community-based setting
  • Collect data and complete daily session notes to track progress and inform practice
  • Provide family with the information, skills, and support related to enhancing the skill development of the child
  • Conduct activities to improve cognitive, communication, social-emotional, fine/gross motor, and adaptive ADL skills
  • Collaborate with families and service providers to assist the child in reaching their IFSP goals
  • Maintain progress reports and participate in meetings related to the child
