Job description

Collateral Operations supports Navy Federal's consumer lending portfolio by managing vehicle title and lien servicing activities, ensuring loans maintain valid proof of ownership and comply with state and regulatory requirements. The department partners with members, DMVs, dealerships, repossession vendors, and internal business units to protect the credit union's collateral position, minimize financial risk, and deliver an efficient member experience throughout the life of the loan.

    Must be pursuing a degree from an accredited college/university, preferably Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or other related business and quantitative disciplines

Desired Qualifications: 

    Experience using Microsoft Excel for data organization, analysis, and reporting
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
    Experience in data analytics, operational reporting, and process improvement
    Communication with impact and be committed to self-development

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM (minimum of 20-25 hours a week, based on school schedule)
Location: 5510 Heritage Oaks Drive, Pensacola, FL 32526

    Research and resolve title, lien, and ownership discrepancies by coordinating with state DMV agencies, vendors, dealerships, and internal business partners to ensure accurate collateral records
    Process and maintain collateral documentation, including title transfers, lien perfection, lien releases, and title corrections, while ensuring compliance with state-specific regulations and credit union policies
    Analyze collateral-related exceptions and automated system data to identify processing issues, support operational efficiency, and ensure timely resolution of member and business unit requests
    Provide support to assigned department; may work on small projects or portions of larger projects
    Support business strategy and initiatives within the business unit and/or across the organization
    Assist and collaborate with various levels of staff to accomplish tasks/assignments
    Perform research and analysis; may include quantitative and/or qualitative analysis
    Maintain professionalism in all interactions, placing member service as priority
    Provide comprehensive day-to-day operational support
    Provide support in functional areas of the credit union
    May provide direct member service in high volume situations
    Process and update data in automated systems; may generate and analyze reports
    Perform other duties as assigned
