We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting & Finance Intern to join our team in Albany, Oregon. This role can start as soon as possible and work throughout the fall 2026 and spring 2027 semesters. This is an onsite, part time position, working at least 15 hours a week between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM. This internship offers real-world, applicable finance experience across key areas such as accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and compliance. The intern will gain exposure to a broad range of finance activities, working alongside professionals to contribute to meaningful projects that impact the business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support duty drawback activities, including data review and preparation of required documentation.
  • Assist with monthly financial close tasks
  • Support cost accounting activities by analyzing manufacturing costs, inventory transactions, and production variances.
  • Partner with the FP&A team to contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Analyze financial data and help identify trends, variances, and key performance drivers
  • Assist in preparing reports and analyses that support business decision-making and operational performance.
  • Contribute to internal audits, compliance initiatives, and process improvement projects.
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and project support as assigned.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Current student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:
  • PowerBI experience
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP principles
  • Prior internship or relevant work experience
