We are seeking a Sales Support Specialist (Sales & Marketing Support Engineer) to join our dynamic team in Boca Raton, Florida. As part of the Business Development team, and reporting to the Area General Manager, the Sales Support Specialist will provide sales process, technical and administrative support to the Area General Manager and other members of the Sales & Marketing team.
The successful Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical, engineering and administrative support to the Sales & Marketing team to maximize the teams efficiency and effectiveness. Additionally, the position would be an opportunity to learn about the commercial HVAC industry from the perspective of an equipment manufacturer, and understand how customer relationships are formed and kept. If interested, the Sales Support Specialist could then take that knowledge and potentially grow into an outside Sales Engineering role, managing national or international accounts.
Role and ResponsibilitesProvide Technical Support:Develop and Present in-depth technical presentations to customers, partners and investors.
Assist in product selection, sizing, and system design based on customer requirements.
Support customer visits for product demonstrations and presentations to educate customers on technical features and benefits.Sales & Marketing Support:
Assist with prospective customer outreach, coordinating responses to incoming enquiries and booking sales meetings.
Assist in the preparation of sales proposals, presentations, and technical documents.
Collaborate with sales team to develop sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
Coordinate with R&D, Product Development and Manufacturing teams regarding technical requirements for proposals, including for any product customization or enhancement required for specific projects.
Maintain the library of product documentation & literature used for the sales team, coordinating updates when needed.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activities, proposals and related data, entering all information into Salesforce
Ensure that customer records and contact details in Salesforce are up to date, including using ZoomInfo to synchronize up to date company and contact information into Salesforce
Assist in the preparation of reports and analyses on sales pipeline and performance
Coordinate with manufacturing and field & customer services teams to ensure timely delivery of products and services.
Experience and Skills
Education and Experience
A Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical, Electrical or similar Engineering discipline
A minimum of 3 years experience in a Sales Support, Sales Engineering or Project Support role in the HVAC industry or closely related applications (including internships). Absolutely exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered if you can demonstrate your capabilities clearly in a cover letter.Knowledge of applied product sales and implementation. Experience with specifying and selling commercial HVAC products would be a plus.
Knowledge and understanding of commercial HVAC industry applications; ability to read and understand MEP drawings and specifications.
A desire to grow into a Sales Engineering role, managing a nationwide account base and mentoring other Sales & Marketing Support Engineers entering the position
Skills and Abilities
IT Proficient, including Microsoft suite (Powerpoint, Word, Excel) and Salesforce
Self-motivated with a desire to work in a high performance, rapid paced start-up

Highly competitive salary to align with the position and level of capabilities of the applicant: $52,000 to $90,000 annual salary, depending on experience.
