Position Overview


We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant to support our finance team. This entry-to-mid level role is perfect for a motivated individual who wants to gain hands-on accounting experience in a fast-growing biotech and medical device company. The Accounting Assistant will help maintain accurate financial records, support day-to-day accounting operations, and assist with financial reporting in a collaborative environment.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, including invoice entry, payment processing, and collections follow-up.
  • Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • File sales tax reports and assist with other regulatory filings.
  • Maintain organized financial records and documentation.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to gather information and resolve accounting inquiries.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documents.
  • Communicate with Korean headquarters on accounting matters as required.


Qualifications and Requirements


  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (recent graduates welcome)
  • 02 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (internships or part-time experience considered).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
  • Basic knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and accuracy.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.


Preferred Skills


  • Experience with ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of multi-state or international tax compliance.
  • Interest in the medical device or biotech industry.
