Business Analyst Intern

As a Business Analyst Intern on the Technology team, a typical day for you will include:
  • Support analysis and optimization of the end-to-end transactional customer journey, identifying opportunities to improve customer experience and operational efficiency
  • Assist in documenting current and future-state customer journeys, including workflows, touchpoints, and pain points across channels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure alignment on customer experience initiatives
  • Contribute to Point-of-Sale (POS) system updates, including documenting requirements, supporting testing, and validating enhancements tied to customer journey improvements
  • Help maintain clear and organized process documentation, journey maps, and business requirements
  • Participate in data analysis and insights generation to support decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support testing efforts (UAT) to ensure POS and process updates meet business and customer needs

Bring your skills and be inspired to achieve success
  • Experience:
    • Basic understanding of business process mapping, customer journey mapping, or workflow documentation (coursework or projects acceptable)
    • Familiarity with data analysis tools (Excel, Google Sheets) and ability to interpret data to support decision-making
    • Exposure to requirements gathering and documentation (e.g., user stories, process flows) through coursework or internships
    • Experience with or interest in retail systems, Point-of-Sale (POS) environments, or transactional systems is a plus
  • Skills:
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt in a fast-paced environment
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
    • Strong interest in customer experience, business analysis, or process improvement
  • Education:
    • Pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Schedule / in-office requirements:
    • Hybrid working model; Monday-Wednesday in office, Thursday/Friday from home.
