Job description

Trade's Internship Program is designed to give students hands-on, real world experience in their field of study. Internships are available every summer, with the official program running from May to August. Specific dates are determined based on college schedules each year and will be communicated to chosen candidates upon offer acceptance.


During an internship at Trade, students will have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects and team goals, collaborate with professionals and fellow interns, participate in team meetings, conduct research, analyze data, and support daily operations within the department in which the intern is assigned. Students will receive mentorship, feedback, and opportunities to grow professionally.

Internships are available in the following departments:

  • Project Estimation and Management
  • Drafting
  • Accounting and HR
  • Safety
  • Quality Control
  • Fabrication
  • Construction


Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate, or technical program in or similar to the following: Construction Management, Engineering or Industrial Technology, Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment, Drafting and Design, Business Administration or Management, Accounting
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented with excellent organization skills
  • Proactive, positive, and professional nature
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
