Under general supervision from the Assistant IT Director (EA, Dev & Cyber), assists with coding, documentation and maintenance of SRPMIC custom designed Angular/Java/SQL full stack software applications.
This job class is treated as FLSA Non-Exempt.

Examples of Tasks
1. Customer and Systems Requirements: Participates in requirements gathering and analysis. Reviews requirements with senior team members to ensure clarity and understanding.
2. Development: Develops code in accordance with design specifications, coding standards, policies and procedures. Incorporates feedback received from senior team members during code reviews in current and future development efforts.
3. Testing: Unit tests developed code and documents test results as required by the departmental and/or project development guidelines.
4. Provides timely and accurate updates of individual progress for all coding assignments.
5. Performs other job-related tasks as assigned by the Assistant IT Director (EA, Dev & Cyber) or IT Director/CIO.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics:
- Basic knowledge of IT infrastructures and applications.
- Basic knowledge of database table design.
- Basic knowledge of software testing and documentation.
- Basic knowledge of Angular, Java, JavaScript and CSS.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Graduation from High School or a GED equivalent required and
- One (1) year demonstrated experience with Java, HTML, CSS & JavaScript within a successful internship capacity required.
- Demonstrated successful experience performing the following technologies required:
- Basic coding skills in industry recognized languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript
- Basic skills working with Microsoft SQL Server or equivalent database technology
Equivalency: Any equivalent combination of education and experience that will allow the applicant to satisfactorily perform the duties of the job may be considered.
Underfill Eligibility: An enrolled Community Member whom closely qualifies for the minimum qualifications for a position may be considered for employment under SRPMIC Policy 2-19, Underfill.
Special Requirements
- May be required to work outside normal work hours including nights, weekends and holidays.
