Familiarity with system dynamics software such as Vensim or Stella, and data analysis tools like Excel or Python, is typically expected. Strong analytical thinking, effective communication, and teamwork are crucial soft skills for collaborating on complex modeling projects. These skills enable interns to accurately represent real-world systems, contribute meaningfully to projects, and communicate findings to diverse stakeholders.

What types of projects can I expect to work on during a System Dynamics internship?

As a System Dynamics intern, you will typically work on projects involving the modeling and simulation of complex systems, such as supply chains, public health, or environmental systems. You may be tasked with collecting and analyzing data, building simulation models using specialized software, and presenting your findings to stakeholders or team members.
