Full Time, Day Shift (7a-7p), Weekends Rotate

Job Summary and Qualifications

As a Certified Obstetric Surgical Technologist at HCA Healthcare, youโ€™ll be a valued part of a highly collaborative team that is passionate about delivering newborns safely and with the highest standards of care, while honoring each professionalโ€™s skills and expertise in obstetrics and surgery. Youโ€™ll prepare the surgical suite, support the team during procedures, and ensure every patient receives compassionate care. With access to training and mentorship, predictable scheduling with on-call support, and clear pathways for growth, youโ€™ll have the tools and environment to follow your passion for obstetric surgery while improving the lives of families every day. 

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing the surgical suite and organizing instruments, equipment, and supplies to support safe, efficient procedures 
  • Assisting with patient positioning, prepping, and draping while maintaining comfort, privacy, and safety 
  • Providing instruments, equipment, and hands-on support to the surgical team during obstetric procedures 
  • Maintaining a sterile field, performing counts, and ensuring instruments and equipment function properly 
  • Working closely with the surgical team to deliver patient-centered care and a seamless surgical experience 
What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • High School Graduate / GED
  • Vocational/Technical graduate of Surgical Technician program
  • CST required within 6 months of hire
  • 1 year CST experience
