Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct both standard and complex clinical laboratory tests in a range of areas, including chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond, adhering to established protocols.
• Scrutinize results for precision, address discrepancies, and tackle preventative maintenance as well as calibration of laboratory instrumentation.
• Support specimen collection processes and prepare samples for various tests as required.
• Document procedures meticulously, mentor new team members or interns, and contribute to maintaining lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, secure lab environment while complying with relevant regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within your first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your career with us.
