Job Summary

Gain a holistic view of the publishing industry includingcompetitive landscape, activation components and terminology, negotiation skills,best practicesas well asdaily stewardshiptasks related to the print activation process.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

Support team in day-to-day tasks ranging from pre-planning to post buy/execution while also gainingknowledge of terms and best practices relating to print strategy and activation.

Tasks will include but not limited to:

  • DataCollection;Assemble consideration sets and complete print rankers sourcing MRI data

  • RFPSubmission;Coordinate submission process and communication with vendors,work with planner to review RFP submissionsonce received

  • Plan Building;Collectpublication specific deadlines and information to compile supporting documents needed for the planning process,facilitatesmall scale negotiations,runReach/Frequency in MRIsoftware to inform plan deliveries

  • Plan Execution;Entermedia planinto SBMSbuying software,generate insertion orders, trackreceiptand confirm signatures, manage vendor communicationregardingplan details, manage closing date calendars,assistin negotiating and implementing added value

  • Administrative Work;Coordinate vendormeetings, complete Horizon mandatorytrainings, manage client positioningandadded valuereports, conduct GfK Starch analysis,assistin writing POVs, compile industry newsletter for the agency

Salary Range

$40,000.00 - $50,000.00

A successful applicant's actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual's skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
