Your New Role...

  • The temporary position in Sports Data and Insights is a unique opportunity to work with some of the biggest sports brands in the world!
  • Using data and personal knowledge about sports, this role will support the creation of research tactics, insights and storylines surrounding sports programming and sports consumers
  • This is an opportunity to learn about consumer attitudes and behavior and to help generate knowledge points on emerging sports and new content platforms

Role Accountabilities...

  • Coordinating with Programming and the NY Research team to input program schedules and other critical information into the NCL database
  • Collecting, analyzing and summarizing data from primary and secondary sources for daily and ad hoc reporting
  • Using software applications (such as: Nielsen, NCL, Arianna, MRI, Star Media, etc.) to generate data and reports
  • Creating presentations and other documents for data visualization
  • Contributing sports knowledge and analytical expertise during department meetings and strategy sessions
  • Additional tasks will be dependent on experience and strengths
  • This position reports to the Managers, Sports Data and Insights


Qualifications & Experiences...

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Industry work experience or a relevant internship is preferred
  • Ability to master new software and technology
  • Must have strong math skills
  • Solid writing and verbal communication skills
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate data and analysis thru visual design and written communication
  • Experience with Nielsen software, including Nielsen Content Link, is a must
  • Knowledge of sports leagues, sports industry and sports landscape are a plus
  • Previous experience in Programming or Ad Sales Research is a plus

Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery's total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $46,592.00 - $86,528.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros.
