Who Are We Looking For?

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline (or equivalent experience)
  • 0-2 years of relevant internship or co-op experience; or, 3-5 years of relevant experience in software development or application support

Technical Skills

  • Foundational knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#, or similar)
  • Basic understanding of SQL and relational databases
  • Exposure to scripting, automation, or API development through coursework or projects (e.g. PowerShell, shell scripting)
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle concepts (Agile, DevOps)
  • Experience working with APIs, integrations, and enterprise systems is an asset
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, or modern DevOps practices is an asset

In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
